about F1.LINK

“We love Formula 1 more than anything!

We decided to create an F1 information site that we could use for our own convenience.

Nowadays, you don’t need to buy a magazine to find out about F1, there’s plenty of information available on the web.
But at the end of the day, if you want to get all the information you need before a race, for example, you have to browse through a lot of websites.
As a staff member of F1.LINK, we know that it’s difficult to create a website that will satisfy your needs (even if you focus on a particular genre).
Despite the existence of comprehensive F1 information sites, the fact is that we F1 fans can’t help but look at them and all the other sites!

Each of the F1 information sites that we regularly cross has its own strengths. Each of the F1 information sites we cross on a daily basis has its own strengths: it’s good at keeping you up to date, it’s got the best pictures, it’s got the best writing.
So we thought it would be a good idea to create a site that would be a hub for each of these sites, based on the kind of link collection you used to see a long time ago.

As a result, we decided that our unique strengths – high design + usability + accessibility – should be absolutely paramount, while at the same time being able to catch up with public RSS feeds and Twitter timelines in an easy to understand way.

However, as is often the case with anything that’s just a passing fancy, we needed a clear start before we could really get going.
The timing of this idea was perfect, as the general registration of new gTLDs had just started, and “.link” was the perfect domain!

Of course, it’s not just about linking to the site, but also about collecting images and videos that are not easily available in one place, and making them as easy to view as possible (for us, anyway), and steadily adding interesting, valuable and attractive articles and content.

Thus, in April 2015, F-1.LINK took its first steps.
